What has Billie Eilish had done to her teeth?

If you’ve not heard of Billie Eilish, where have you been?

Rocketing to stardom with her haunting vocals and genre-blending sound, her songwriting was that of an experienced musician when she was just 14.

Collaborating with her brother to create record-breaking albums and singles, her tracks have won awards around the globe.

She’s even the only woman in history, and the second person EVER, to grab all four awards for the major Grammy categories (Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year) in the same year.

It can’t be easy being in the limelight from such an early age, but she seems to have kept herself humble, staying away from the beauty standards often put on younger women in the industry.

But you’ll never Guess what she’s had done to her teeth!

Let’s have a look.

Teeth straighter than Barbie

Perfect for those who don’t want traditional braces, Invisalign helps to move the teeth into a more desirable position without the bulky metal.

In her music video for Bad Guy, she was seen taking out her clear aligners, raising the question of whether she’s had cosmetic dentistry work or not.

Billie’s brother Fineas explained this was in reference to her starting her teeth straightening journey when recording the album, and how she became so used to wearing them, that she forgot to take them out. They joked about the aligners clicking when removed will be her ‘thing’ - they even incorporated it into some of the songs.

Billie also had a period of having ‘buttons’ on her teeth - dots of dental material that aid the movement.

Straightening treatment can also improve bite - maybe it makes eating LUNCH easier for the pop star. However, most undergo the treatment to alter the aesthetic.

Composite (James) Bond-ing

Braces - clear or traditional - can completely transform a smile, pushing any unwanted gaps together and creating a more symmetrical smile.

But what it can’t do is change the shape of the teeth. Billie’s perfect smile looks like it’s had some help from composite bonding - a popular cosmetic method that uses composite material to mould the teeth into a more uniform look.

Now it looks like she’s Happier Than Ever, with her crisp smile highlighting her Ocean Eyes.
